HiWi position

We are looking for a long-term Hiwi student to support our group as soon as possible.

The neuroimmunological laboratory of Prof. Dr. Edgar Meinl at the Institute of Clinical Neuroimmunology investigates the immunopathogenesis of multiple sclerosis. Our labs are located at the Biomedical Center at the LMU Bio-Campus.
The work as Hiwi student is mainly focused on human blood isolations, stimulation experiments, ELISA and organizing of samples as well as basic tasks such as buffer preparation, DNA preparations, and others.
Weekly working hours are approximately 10 h/week.
Blood isolations will be regular and have to be isolated throughout that day, the other tasks can be scheduled flexibly.
Due to human material work a proof of antibody titers against / record of full protection against Hepatitis B and the full vaccination against Measles is required
Experiences with PBMC isolation from blood and/or cell culture and/or ELISA is an advantage.
Please send your application directly to Simone and Stephan.
We are happy to hear from you.
